the movement

The Movement is a transformative embodiment practice designed to help you reconnect with your body, release mental clutter, and cultivate a deeper sense of presence. In our fast-paced, technology-driven world, it’s easy to become disconnected from our physical selves, leading to stress, anxiety, and a feeling of being overwhelmed. The Movement invites you to step away from the chaos and into a space of mindful awareness.

Through a series of guided Somatic Movement, Breathwork, and Deep Visualization, participants will engage in a journey that encourages self-exploration and physical expression. This practice is rooted in the belief that our bodies hold wisdom and that by tuning into our physical sensations, we can unlock and release emotions and stress that have been stored in the physical body.

The Movement is a catalyst for change where we connect the mind, body, and soul so that you can step into your inner strength. It's a sanctuary for you to drop the masks, the resistance and the old patterns and beliefs residing in your body so that you can live a more authentic and joyful life.

Let the sound of your own voice empower you to leave the past behind and move into your life with strength and grace.

Join us with an open heart and be witness to the magic that is waiting to unfold.

The Movement is back with a special event: somatic rave!

  • I felt GREAT as usual after the Retreat, but couldn’t help but notice after the Movement that my knees, and in particular, my HIPS were PAIN FREE! I’m starting to think that I should do that everyday, but being lazy, I prefer a Leader and teacher. Movement truly is medicine, so my favourite part/thing I liked the best was the Movement! Not to mention great cardio! So the lesson I’m taking away that was reinforced was KEEP MOVING! If you stop, you’re done! Keep it going everybody!

    PS, music was FANTASTIC!

  • Last weekend was my first Movement experience. I really enjoyed the day. I enjoyed the pace and variety of the program. I was very tired at the end of the day in a good way. I haven’t danced in years so that was a big reach for me. I took a new job in December (after having been with my previous employer for 26 years). The next day I left for Ottawa for meetings with a new crowd. I was wildly uncomfortable and anxious. I spent time cataloging what does that actually feel like, as per the technique you shared, and I found some relief from my self- doubt and agitated nerves.Thank you.

  • It was invigorating and emotional for me and so needed. The sound bath was nice. And having a small break with yummy Bengal spice tea and cookies was extra special and delightful. Gave a chance to connect with people in a short time. Well done!!! Thank you

  • It was my first time doing an event like this and I loved it! I’m not even a regular yoga practitioner (I think this may have been my first live class) so I was pretty apprehensive about a 5 hour event! I didn’t need to be. It flew by! The sound bath was unexpectedly lovely and generally, I loved all of it. The biggest thing for me is how calm I’ve felt since. There is just something about processing emotions and trauma physically that works in a way that talking/journalling/being in your head can’t. I’m taking that away with me and trying to remember all of the tools. Thank you! Looking forward to the next one!!
